In 2020-2021, Storm Topwind received the first Ice Prevention Systems applications. For example, Topwind will provide the parks in Gent, Pelt and Dilsen Stokkem with 24/7 security during the winter period.

The first projects for the Topwind Ice Prevention Systems are planned in Q1 2022.Topwind also installed the first Bird Control System at windfarm Pelt. This makes windfarm Pelt the most bird friendly windfarm in Belgium.
